1.1 Number concept: Count objects.

1.2 Order numbers:

  • What comes before; between; after?
  • Order numbers in ascending and descending orders.
  • Use the number line and complete more or less than.

1.3 Number symbols and number names:

  • Complete the number chart from 1 –
  • Read the number name and circle the number symbol on

the number chart.

  • Read the number symbol and write the number name.

1.4 Problem solving: Read the story sum, draw a picture and write a number sentence.

1.5 Money:

  • Recognise coins and their value.
  • Draw how much money I have in my wallet.
  • Draw how much money I have in my wallet.

1.6 Calculations:

  • Calculate the answer by counting on or back.
  • Use a number line and complete plus and minus sums.
  • Mental maths.
  • Number combinations (1-10).


Patterns, Functions & Algebra

2.1 Number patterns:

a) Count forward/backward in 1’s on the number chart.

b) Count forward/ backward in 2’s on the number chart.

c) Count forward/backward 5’s -100.

d) Count forward/backward in 10’s -100.

2.2 Geometric patterns:

a) Fill in the missing patterns.


Space & Shape (Geometry)

3.1 Recognise symmetry.

3.2 Recognise 2D+shapes and their properties.

3.3 Recognise and name 3D-objects by matching the correct name to the 3D-object, e.g. cylinder,       cube, sphere, pyramid, cone.



4.2 Volume:  Which container has more or less?

4.2 Length: Study the pencils and answer the questions:
