Esopus’s fables have long been used to teach children lessons about moral values and ways of life. A fable is a narrative where animals act like humans to convey important life lessons about human weaknesses and follies.

The moral of a fable focuses on what is right and wrong in human behaviour, examining the good and bad qualities of people.

Ideal for the following Activities:

  • Story Comprehension: Listen to the story and share your opinion about it.
  • Listening Skills: Listen without interrupting the speaker, take turns speaking, and ask questions for clarification.
  • Storytelling: Tell a familiar story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

  • Oral Presentation: Give an oral presentation by retelling a familiar story in your own words.
