- Writes an expressive text, such as a get-well card.
- Write 1-2 paragraphs (at least eight sentences) on personal experiences or events.
- Uses correct punctuation (full stops, commas, question marks, and exclamation marks) so that others can read what has been written.
- Combining sentences with “and”.
- Uses present, past, and future tenses correctly.
- Uses nouns, verbs, and pronouns correctly.
- Builds own word bank and personal dictionary
